For our first user onboarding efforts, we built a nifty way for people to learn about Elevator that benefits the existing users. Introducing the Elevator referral system!

We're putting our money where our mouth is and offering $5 for every person you refer to Elevator. All you need to do is share your referral link with friends, colleagues, and the world.

Here's a little lo-fi preview of the referrals section of the platform:

The referral scheme is only available to people in Australia, and payment will be made when the referral pool (currently 1000) is full. We're serious about changing the way companies interact with people, and believe companies should pay you for the privilege of connecting, so we're putting our money where our mouth is.

This is the first step to using Elevator to monetise your profile. Create an account, head to the referrals section, and share your referral URL. We'll track who signs up using it, and drop your referral cash into your bank when the time comes.

We're aware that it's possible to create fake accounts, so we'll be keeping a close eye on signups - if any of your referrals are not genuine or considered to be created in bad faith, we'll let you know. You'll of course get paid for the real ones who create full, searchable profiles.
